CryptoState Inc. (“CryptoState,” “we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our platform at cryptostate.io (“Platform”).
2. Information We Collect
2.1 — Information You Provide
- Account information: email address, display name, and password (via Supabase Auth).
- Profile information: phone number, profile photo, and any optional details you add.
- Listing content: property details, photos, descriptions, pricing, and location data you submit.
- KYC data: government-issued ID and selfie submitted through Stripe Identity. We do not store your ID documents — they are processed and retained by Stripe.
- Payment information: billing details processed through Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers or bank account details.
- Communications: messages sent through our inbox feature.
2.2 — Information Collected Automatically
- Device & browser data: IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers.
- Usage data: pages viewed, features used, time spent, and interaction patterns (via PostHog analytics).
- Location data: approximate location derived from IP address for search functionality.
- Cookies: essential cookies for authentication plus optional analytics cookies (see Section 7).
2.3 — Blockchain Data
- Wallet addresses: your public wallet address when you connect a wallet to the Platform.
- We do not access, store, or control your private keys or seed phrases.
- Blockchain transactions are publicly visible on the XRP Ledger and are not controlled by us.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the Platform.
- To create and manage your account.
- To display your property listings to other users.
- To process subscription payments.
- To verify your identity for compliance purposes.
- To send transactional emails (confirmations, resets, listing updates).
- To analyze usage patterns and improve the Platform.
- To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or security issues.
- To comply with legal obligations.
5. Data Retention
- Account data is retained while your account is active.
- Listing data is retained until you delete the listing or your account.
- Analytics data is retained in aggregated, anonymized form.
- After account deletion, we may retain certain data for up to 90 days for legal compliance and fraud prevention, after which it is permanently deleted.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including:
- Encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS) and at rest.
- Row-Level Security (RLS) on all database tables.
- Server-side API key validation.
- Rate limiting and origin-based access controls.
- Regular security reviews.
No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100 % secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
Access
Request a copy of your personal data.
Correction
Request correction of inaccurate data.
Deletion
Request deletion of your personal data.
Portability
Receive your data in a machine-readable format.
Objection
Object to processing for certain purposes.

9. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete it, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.
10. International Users
The Platform is operated from the United States. If you access the Platform from outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the Platform, you consent to this transfer.
11. Children’s Privacy
The Platform is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn we have collected data from a child under 18, we will delete it promptly.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a prominent notice on the Platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
